Repairing computers not only takes time, but requires a large assortment of tools, expensive software that requires constant upgrades, and non reusable supplies. I am not passing any of these costs on to the the AR HOA clients and I am absorbing them 100%.
I am sure most people wouldn't even disclose this because of the tiny dollar amount discussed below, but I feel that is just dishonest. In an attempt to offset some of my costs, I will at times suggest parts that are required to fix your device through my associate links with places like Amazon. If you use the link I send to buy the necessary parts, I make a tiny commission, sometimes just a few cents. Keep in mind whether you use the links or not, the price you pay is always the same from Amazon as if you found the item on your own. The only difference is I can make a small stipend to offset my costs. Of course, you can choose to buy the item anywhere you like and it will not affect my willingness to do the repair.
I also may record the repair and put the video on YouTube, where I may collect a small content creator fee if the videos are viewed. As an example, a video may have to be viewed thousands of times to make $2.00, so recovering a small porting of my expenses is unlikely, even with these programs. But it may help. Rest assured, that your information is NEVER shown or shared in these videos. And you can always opt out just by telling me you don't want the repair recorded.
Again, this is a free service to you, but each repair costs me money. I ask you to help me offset these costs without any expense to you by allowing be to use my affiliate programs. Thank you for your cooperation.
